To My Fellow District 7 Residents:

As the City of Dallas moves forward, residents of South Dallas, Fair Park and East Dallas want to see our neighborhoods move in a positive direction along with it. District 7 is full of potential for development and needs a strong, experienced leader to make this potential a reality.  As a community activist, licensed real estate broker, investor and a home owner in District 7 for more than 22 years, I feel qualified to lead and would be proud to represent the voices of all communities at City Hall.

I am running for City Council for many reasons including having a  passion for helping people. Since the 1990's, up until the present, I have served on a number of Dallas boards and commissions and in doing so I have gained valuable experience on how City Hall functions.  I have vast economic development experience which is sorely needed in Council District 7.  During my years of service I have assisted businesses go from start-ups to multi-million dollar corporations that now employ thousands of area residents.

I continue to serve in several organizations striving to help improve the quality of life for Dallas citizens.  I am the founder and first President of Hillview Terrace Homeowners Association where I have lived for the last 20 years and like all residents, I want to improve my neighborhood, take a stand against crime and protect our property values.

District 7 is a demographically, culturally and racially diverse part of the City of Dallas.  Each area within our district has unique needs and I am committed to addressing the needs of all.  I want District 7 to grow and flourish and I am committed to meeting the needs of all citizens.
